We are located in Central New York where there is ample fishing and with a wide
variety of fish. We have focused on this region. As we find more
spots, we will post them. The trouble with fishing many times is not
knowing where to go and those that do know do not like to give away their
"secret spots". We have done a lot of work to catalog the areas that we
go, so hopefully you can get started with this information we have provided.
DESCRIPTION: This
area is on the North side of the lake and is very
accessible via car. The shoreline is riddled
with large rocks and there are two flood lights
directly over your shoulder while fishing.
WATER
DEPTH: Shore fishing in 2-10 feet of water
along the rocks. Fishing into the boat launch
area is a bit deeper.
FISHING
MONTH(s): There is not a bad month to fish in
this area. During the summer, the weeds tend
to grow in front of the rocks, but fishing is still
possible.
IMPORTANT
NOTES:

"The Bar"
DESCRIPTION: This is actually a small marina
on the Southeastern side of the lake. The land
mass jutting toward the North is the best place for
catching walleye. You can also catch some on
the northeastern peninsula, casting to the right
side toward the lights at night.
WATERDEPTH: Shore fishing in 2-6 feet of water.
FISHING
MONTH(s): This area is filled with weeds from
mid-summer until late-October. Any other time
is optimal.
IMPORTANT
NOTES: This area has a Posted sign on the
canopy structure in the south side of the marina.
It is owned by the Oneida Indian Nation. (Fish
at your won risk).

Schneibles
Restaurant Area
DESCRIPTION: Schneibles Restaurant has a few
places to fish. There is a canal that has been
known to produce good sized walleye. There is
normally a large supply of bait fish in the canal,
so you will need to be patient.
WATER
DEPTH: The canal is at least 15-20 feet deep.
The shoreline on the north side is 3-4 feet deep in
most places, but drops off after about 10 feet out
to 10-15 feet.
FISHING
MONTH(s): This area can be fished all year,
but with the hot summer months the walleye do not
seem to hit as much, especially with the abundance
of bait fish competing with your lure.
IMPORTANT
NOTES: Schneibles Restaurant has a nice
parking lot to park, but you cannot really fish here
until after the restaurant is closed. There
has been issues with people fishing here when there
is too much noise or trouble. --- Jigging can also
produce in the lighted areas of the water.
